What the calculator returns
A name can produce a destiny number, soul urge number, personality number, and a site-specific list of associated values. A birthday can produce a life path number, birth day number, and its own associated list. When both inputs are present, the page also shows a maturity number and combines the two lists, removes duplicates, sorts them, and displays up to ten values.
These are numerology calculations and MyLuckyNumber entertainment formulas. They do not identify a person, predict an outcome, or establish that any value is objectively lucky.
Name calculation method
The calculator uses the same repeating 1–9 mapping documented on the methodology page. Spaces contribute zero. Latin vowels A, E, I, O, and U contribute to the soul urge sum; mapped non-vowels contribute to the personality sum; every mapped character contributes to the destiny sum.

Each raw sum is repeatedly reduced by adding its decimal digits. The traditional master-number values 11, 22, and 33 are retained. Non-Latin, non-whitespace characters use the site's compatibility fallback, (first UTF-16 code unit % 9) + 1; this is a software convention, not a culturally validated transliteration.
Birthday calculation method
The life path value reduces month + day + four-digit year. The birth day value reduces the calendar day. The displayed birthday list also uses reduced month/year components and the documented site-specific modulo-50 combinations. All date validation happens locally.
Worked example
For Ada Lovelace, the mapped full-name sum is 36, which reduces to destiny number 9. The vowels total 19, which reduces to soul urge 1. The remaining mapped characters total 17, which reduces to personality 8. For December 10, 1815, 12 + 10 + 1815 = 1837, which reduces to life path 1; the birth day 10 also reduces to 1. The calculator may therefore remove repeated 1 values from the combined display.
Privacy and limitations
- The page does not intentionally send or store the entered name, birthday, or result.
- Copying uses the browser clipboard only after the Copy result button is selected.
- Name handling is software-defined and can produce culturally inappropriate results for scripts outside the Latin mapping.
- Numerology is a tradition and entertainment framework, not a scientific personality test.
